The GameCube was pretty mediocre as a console, but SO MANY of its games have aged like wine.
Antibiotics. Turned so many lethal wounds into minor cuts.
Honestly don’t even remember, but it was in my peak “know enough to be dangerous” days in college. I almost certainly didn’t have to go that nuclear to fix it, but that’s what I did.
Take 2 of Arch, after that wipe was completed, went pretty well. It revived an old piece of shit laptop for another few years before its motherboard gave out.
My first attempt at running Arch, I managed to fuck it up so badly that I had to write a script to write zeros to every bit of my HDD. Fun times.
My favorite fortress fail was from a were-iguana. A visitor turned into a giant iguana in the middle of the dining hall and caused a minor ruckus before my militia dispatched it. 2/10 invasion, really not that special.
Then next full moon there were 7 of them, including my militia commander. Oops. Pay attention to combat logs when you fight a were-creature! Quarantine the bitten!
It’s not about the crops, farmers work by the sun, not by the clock.
It was able conserving candles and oil, for lighting rooms.
I spent so many hours in the Sonic Adventure 2 Chao garden, training and breeding the ultimate racer.
BG3 runs like a dream on steam deck.
What is your background. “A job using Linux” is super broad and remote work only narrows it further. If you don’t have plenty of experience, it’ll be hard to get a remote position.
I like caffeine, don’t like coffee.
I mostly drink Pu-Erh, but I got a craving for green tea on my last order and accidentally ordered a way bigger bag than I intended. So I’ve been working through that for a while.
Oliver Tree sure has a weird origin story.
Yeah, trackpads in addition to joysticks, rather than instead of joysticks, is such a game changer.
Yup, RTGs are still subject to the second law of thermodynamics.
I hate when games DON’T have the option. In FPS non-inverted makes more sense, but in 3rd person games if I can’t invert the camera if just feels unplayable.
A degree in audio engineering.
It’s possible and there has been plenty of research done into it, but it’s a hard problem and not just a question of slapping an off-the-shelf EQ on it.
It’s a fun one. Not nearly as open-ended as SDV, but it has more of an actual story to tell so that’s okay.
I recommend the DLC, they flesh out the story a lot.
They’re technically mouse-navigable, but they’re awful at it. The currently-click-selected option is not always obvious.
SkyUI is one of my must-have mods for that reason.
