Does this exist?
We have jpop and kpop, where is the cpop? The only things I can find through lazy searching are from a decade ago.
Yes, they do exist. Here’s one such song 寄明月 (Send to the Bright Moon) by SING (Super Impassioned Net Generation).
Then there’s also this other song popular for sounding similar to the “n-word” -【Sunshine, Rainbow, White pony】 by Wowkie Zhang.
Thank you for this!
It exists and is usually broken out into at least 2 kinds MandoPop for mainland china mandarin and CantoPop for Cantonese from Southern China
Had a bunch of buddies into Jay Chou but I think that falls in the 20 years ago category.
from a decade ago.
Any problem with that -_____- ?!
Not at all, I’m old. Really just curious if there was a current pop scene there or not.
Faye Wong, perhaps?
You have K-Pop, but Chinese pop doesn’t exist. Chinese rap (crap) exists though.
Edit: joke. Korean pop- k-pop. Chinese rap - c-rap. I don’t actually think Chinese rap is crap.
“iTs cRap” - yeah no, I’ll let people be the judge of it - Factory by Zhang Fangzhao.
It’s a joke. Chinese rap. C-rap. Crap. I haven’t listened to it before.
