I was in your position before, also stuck in a state I hated. If you’re thinking about cheating then you already know you didn’t prepare well enough. I’m sorry. Try your hardest, who knows maybe you pass anyway.

Cheating, especially with math, is not an option. Your future classes will depend on what you learn now. Your job eventually will need this. Think about it architects and engineers of our bridges and buildings cheated, it’s important that you learn.

If you don’t, failing isn’t the worst thing. Just know it means you need to try harder next time. Reaffirm yourself and try again. Your life will not change much, there will always be another chance.

What would hsppen if you pass, but later is found out to have cheated?

Then that means that not only your skills are in question, but also your honesty.

You can recover from a lack of skill, it is much harder to recover from a lack of honesty.

Would help to have more details on the math. I would say try for the W but take the L. If you could do it with the formulas can’t you just remember a few important ones? If you only need to pass it might be enough to carry you through.

Imagine you hid a bit of paper successfully (seems difficult on it’s own but anyway): how do you check it? There will surely be people watching so you can’t go digging around in your shoe.

If you get caught cheating, there is a 0% chance you pass. If you try, the chance is higher than 0.

I don’t know the details but I’m sure there’s some other way around this where you won’t be totally fucked if it doesn’t go well

(OP originally asked for a way to cheat on an exam citing “personal reasons”)

I’d say you’re fucked. Best thing I can come up is fake being sick and hope there’s another try available in a few weeks. And use that time to prepare. In proper maths, it doesn’t really if they test your knowledge or calculation skills… Both requires you to learn.

Concerning the cheating: Entirely depends on the situation. Usually there are people watching and making sure no one cheats… They might have seen some attempts and be better at spotting it than you are doing it if it’s your first rodeo. I wouldn’t try unless it’s a single 65 yo dude who doesn’t care.

You probably should have taken the course more seriously if it holds such importance in your life.

Scientific calculators have memory snd you could put formulas in them, but most tests give you a calculator and you cant use your own.

Come to think ofnit i wonder what ever happened to my old one.

Write the answers on your underwear. This way you if you get caught you can say you were concerned you may have shit your pants again.

Grats on the A+ ahead of time.
