That is a Firefox setting. I use it on my phone.
That only works if you use the 3 dot menu and press Quit, unless there’s another setting I don’t know about.
It works when you close the window, with the exception of Mac which requires you to fully quit, just like any other Mac application.
I am 100% positive that it is NOT working for me upon fully closing Firefox on Android.

Its hardened firefox, but you dont have to do any of the hardening yourself. Thats it, and thats why I continue to just use hardened firefox.
