Naughty Dog have become the kings of double dipping. I wouldn’t be surprised if the remaster for their next game was announced before the initial release at this point.

Read through - my thoughts on this is that the entire release just really seems to be a DLC pack that they’re doing an entirely new release for. A reply to your comment also mentioned Ragnarok which I think was a good way to add on to the original.
Lots of games have had PS5 patches/upgrades for free.
