please help. it is difficult to find the extracted file when it keep its original date creation. i use sort by date creation in explorer. TIA

    There may be a better way, but I use the option to extract the file to a new folder with the same name as the zip file.

      thanks, i still looking for a way not to extract to a folder. althought the folder will appear at the top in Download folder (sort by rate creation), it still slow me down of having to go inside the folder

    Just put the .7zip file in a folder by itself, right click it and click extract here from the list, then you’re set since whatever was extracted will be the only thing in the folder other than the .7zip file

      thanks. it is not very fast, especially when not extract all files inside the zip. Someone post about holding shift key while drag n drop, will try this later

    It seems like using the command line of 7zip would work, but I can’t find a switch for it. If that’s not an option, there are GUI and CLI programs to “touch” files to give them the current date and time.
