For me, I’m almost done with Ragnarok and looking to start Spider-Man 2. I’m finding Ragnarok a bit aimless in the story department. I’m going to have to watch an explanation video afterward because I feel like I’m missing something. Compared to the first game, I think the first one has a better, more consice story. That being said, I am ramping up to the end so I’ll reserve final judgment until then. Still enjoying the characters and story, and the combat is fantastic. I really want to keep upgrading my equipment. Unlike the first one, I feel slightly compelled to finish the side content and having the Portal might help me do it after I wrap the main story.

When out of the house I’ve been playing Sea of Stars on my steam deck. This would be a great Portal game but, alas, I bought it on steam before I had the Portal. If cross save was a thing I would probably pick it up on PS also.

I’m also still debating if I should watch an Alan Wake recap video instead of playing the Remaster, that way I can hop right into Alan Wake 2. I also have Control in my backlog. Maybe you all can help me decide how best to enter the Remedy-verse.

What are you all playing? Let us know! 👇

Ragnarok - don’t miss The Crater: follow the dog on Vanaheim. Enjoy Sp2 - great popcorn game. Control - Bureau Alerts. Freaked me out first few times, but they are just random events. Just extra side content. I’ve not played AW either, will also probably watch a video walkthrough before I pick up AW2. Will probably play some Far Cry 6 and/or Jusant.

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm. I like Final Fantasy and I like rhythm games. Win-win.

Running through Dead Island 2 currently, absolutely incredible what they managed to do with the gore / dismemberment effects in this game.

Spend half the time just trying to see all the cool ways different weapons affect the zombie models instead of making any story progress. Game looks and runs pretty much flawless ime so far.

Playing Nioh on PS5 and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on Switch.

Wanted to start Super Mario RPG, but some real life stuff came up, so probably won’t be able to play it for a little while.

Edit: As for “Remedey-verse”. Depends on what you like. If you are a fan of survival horror, start with Alan Wake Remaster. If not, play Control, it’s a really good game, and it’s DLC will introduce you to Alan Wake. After that you can either play the Remaster or just watch the recap.

I haven’t played the Remaster yet, but I want to give it a try at least. I don’t like survival horror, and wouldn’t have cared about Alan Wake at all if not for Control.

I’m playing Red Dead Redemption 1 remastered. I remember buying the game for my PS3 years back but I never got the chance to play it.

Start with Control and use that to onboard into Alan Wake 1. It’s an amazing game with great atmosphere… Might boot it up actually.

I’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077 again. Going to try and get the DLC later this month if the budget allows and needed to get used to the new skill trees. Also have not played it on the PS5 yet. Looks glorious.
