I’m of the opinion that there will be a lot more God of War content to come.
They left Atreus’ story open and I would expect he’ll get his own game. Sunny is young, the franchise makes a ton of money, and is a GOTY contender every time they release a game.
I know that Cory Barlog says that he’s ready to move on, but I interpret that as moving on from Kratos’ story.
Not sure how successful that would be. I don’t think most people would want an Atreus only game. The character just isn’t that interesting without Kratos.
Also personally I’m not a big fan of the direction Ragnarok went. Felt like a rushed Marvel movie compared to the more serious tone of 2018

Your comment makes sense. If you felt that way about Ragnarok, you probably wouldn’t be interested in an Atreus and Angrboda story.
