    That’s just how Minecraft has always handled weather. Raining is on or off. It is raining in every biome it can, and snowing in the biomes that are below a certain temperature. Switches at the biome boundary.

      The important fact here is that we’re looking at a biome border. Because otherwise, there should only be either snow or rain.
